City of Lancaster Annual Firework Event Cancelled

The City of Lancaster Annual 4th of July Extravaganza, which was too take place Monday, July 4, 2022, at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds and Event Center has been cancelled.

Organizers we forced to cancel the event after California State Fire Marshall found the event vendor, Exposhows, Inc , to be allegedly engaged in undisclosed illegal activities city officials announced in a press release. 

The California State Fire Marshal raised the Exposhows Warehouse located in Mojave on Saturday June 25 .

Lancaster City Council and Mayor R. Rex Parris days they are, "saddened by the news"

Those having already purchased tickets to the event will have their purchase price refunded
