On September 27, 2023, a motorcycle collided with a city bus when the driver allegedly made a right turn against the red light. It's leave the motorcyclist attempted to apply his brakes and at that point lost control of his motorcycle and collided with the bus, and allegedly sustained injuries to his arm when the rear tires of the bus ran over his arm.
On November 2, 2023, the motorcycle list was pronounced dead in the hospital. The Los Angeles county coroner's office citing the cause of death as multiple blunt trauma.
The man's wife is questioning how it got from an injured arm to the death of her husband a month later. "I just want to know was it the bus drivers fault, something that happened at the hospital or was there somehow foul play involved. I just want to know what happened to my husband."
The motorcyclist who perished in the accident was Andrew Halperin.
The accident occurred on September 27th 2023 on the corner of East Pico boulevard and San Pedro Street in Los Angeles. Witnesses and any video or photographs of the incident are being requested.
