Road rage shooting on the 14 Freeway in Lancaster
A road rage incident escalated into a shooting on the 14 Freeway in Lancaster this past Friday March 18.
. According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the incident began at the intersection of Avenue I and Valley Central Way when one person cut another off in traffic. Both parties then continued east and entered the southbound 14 Freeway. Both vehicles continued South when somewhere between Avenue I and Avenue K one person shot at the other parties vehicle hitting the left side of the vehicle. The vehicle that was hit then exited the freeway on Avenue K then reentered the freeway from Avenue K going northbound and then came to a stop on the shoulder of the freeway. The suspect vehicle did not stop. There were no injuries reported . At this time there is no description of the suspect vehicle nor information known as to any people that may be inside the suspect vehicle so authorities are asking for the public's help.
