High wind advisory for High Desert-AntelopevValley Area

A high wind advisory is in effect for the High Desert-Antelope Valley Area from 2:00am Monday, April 4 until 11:00pm. Expect south-west winds of 30-40 miles per hour with gusts up to 65 miles per hour. The extremely high wind could cause falling trees and power lines and even possible power outages. Use caution when driving as visibility could be impaired due to blowing sand, trash and other debris. This could make driving conditions more difficult and dangerous, especially for high profile vehicles.
