Perris Records releases reissue of Cherry St self titled CD

The 80's and 90's was the age of hairspray, eyeliner, big hair tall heels and short skirts. Knac 105.5 ruled the FM airwaves, dollar drinks were everywhere and Hollywood's Infamous Sunset Strip was THE place to be on Friday and Saturday Nights. Where leather clad rockers packed the nightclubs lining the Sunset Strip. Clubs like Gazzarris  The Roxy, The Whisky A Go-Go, The Rainbow Room and more and one band that rocked them all was Cherry St. While other bands were busy covering songs by other bands, Cherry St.'s  original tracks, hard Rocklin, heavy hitting performances featuring shedding guitar licks to accompany amazing vocals and a steady drum and bass beat  keeping a hot rhythem combined with the bands charismatic personalities and mass sex appeal, it wasn't long before the band developed a devoted following which filled the clubs and sold out shows, eager for more of one of the hottest bands to ever rock The Sunset Strip.

.    The band's self titled CD, "Cherry St.," was originally released in 1992 and was the first CD released by the newly formed Perris Records. In honor of the 30 Year Anniversary of both the CD Release as well as the anniversary of Perris Records first released CD, Perris Records has released a limited edition reissue of the Cherry St. CD.  The release date of April 8, 2022 found most copies already sold out in most of the US Markets but if you didn't get your copy you still have a chance as more of the CDs are set to arrive on April 11, 2022  If you can't wait until then, and you act quickly, you may still be able to pick one up through one of these stores.
