(Updated)Tragic Accident Leaves One Woman Dead

A tragic accident this morning on East Avenue G best 30th street East in Lancaster. A woman believed to be in her mid forties was attempting to jump start another vehicle when her own vehicle somehow slipped into neutral and ran the woman over.  This according to the woman who the deceased was attempting to offer assistance to. The two women were friends.

Officers from The California Highway Patrol tension on scene awaiting the arrival of the county coroner to remove the body of the deceased.

The woman who died when her car ran over her was 42 year old Jessica Purintun, of Simi Valley, though had recently been residing in Lancaster near the location of her death.
